摘要
COVID-19 pandemic, declared by WHO in March 2020, calls for specific attention to the phenomenon of vulnerability. The pandemic has exposed the ontological vulnerability shared by all human beings, but also the way in which socioeconomic inequalities affect the inequitable distribution of specific or situational vulnerabilities. On the other hand, it has also brought to the fore the profound interdependence we share among all people, which also extends to non-human agents and the environment. This article presents a general analysis of vulnerability in the context of COVID-19, proposing, in particular, that it is an appropriate category for analyzing the essential interdependence of human beings with their fellow human beings, with other living beings and with the environment.
