摘要
We present a physics-based tool for the numerical simulation of high-power broad-area edge-emitting diode lasers that self consistently couples heat transport to a dynamic electrooptical model. Due to the different time scales, an iterative coupling scheme is used. A good qualitative agreement between simulated and measured beam parameters is obtained.
