Molecule-based weak ferromagnet with unique magnetic multiphases

摘要
New charge-transfer salt, [1 center dot Fe(III)Cl-4] (1 = tetraselena-fulvalene-1,3-dithiol-2-one) was prepared and its crystal structure was determined. The magnetic susceptibility measurements of [1 center dot Fe(III)Cl-4] suggested notonly that [1 center dot Fe(III)Cl-4] is a weak ferromagnet but also that [1 center dot Fe(III)Cl-4] has several magnetic phases, depending on the applied field at low temperature.
