摘要
In this paper, we discuss the results of a study that aim to identify and classify metaplasms that occurred in students' texts in the context of Education of Adolescents, Young and Adults (EAJA) at Portuguese language classrooms. From the theoretical perspective this paper shows a discussion about historical linguistic (CAMARA JR.; 1984; COUTINHO, 1976; DIAS, 2015), concepts about synchronism and diachronism proposed by (MILANI, s/n; SAUSSURE, 2006) and, finally, metaplasms. In the methodological point of view, this study is a qualitative case study and the data collect derived from interviews. The data suggest that over the years the Portuguese language changes and those students in this type of teaching make use of words in which metaplasms occur in their daily lives.
