摘要
Internet of Things (IoT) has been the recent development and the latest trend in network computing and connectivity console. Energy Efficiency plays a vital role in IOT environments which basically comprises of devices that uses batteries such as sensors, actuators, chips and so on. In order to introduce with any communication protocol for IoT environment; the most important requirement to be met, is this term energy efficiency. To enhance (or) improvise the lifetime of IoT network and IoT nodes, the optimization of the consumption of energy is the main task to consider. This serves as the success of an IoT network as well as an enhancement to the performance of an IoT. Before getting into the concept of energy efficiency, one should understand the need to pay more attention towards energy efficiency (or) optimization of energy consumption (or) sustainability of IoT devices in the Information & communication technology industries. The concept of IoT is to make objects smarter by connecting it to exchange information through internet connectivity. To be precise, IoT connects and transfers information in 3 forms: human-human, human- things and things-things. And since most of the devices are energy constrained this topic is the crucial one to explore.
