摘要：
The article considers the issue of the machine-building complex development in Ukraine, its failures and prospects of functioning under the current conditions of economic crisis. The state and the development of machine-building enterprises in Ukraine within the time frame from 1990 till 2010 are analyzed. A range of actions to be taken for the effecient activity of this industry is offered.
