摘要
Experimental methodology is one of the important research methods in studying information quality, effects on decision making. However at present limited research concentrates oil, the methodological issues. Without appropriate control of these issues, they will negatively influence the reliability and validity, of the research findings. Furthermore these issues might produce inconsistent conclusions. Therefore this paper discusses four methodological issues adapted from experimental information system research: research strategy, measuring instrument, research design, and experimental task. Regarding these issues, a framework is proposed to facilitate the experimental research. Using this framework, an experiment is offered to address these methodological issues and indicate the further experimental design. Finally we conclude by providing suggestions and indications for the further experimental research of information quality effects on decision making.
