Assessing information quality in group decision making

Decision making is one of the important business operations in organizations. With increasing demands for high quality decisions, group decision making has been recognized as an effective approach to enhance the quality of decision making through information exchange. From an information quality perspective, group decision making can increase the level of information quality compared to individual decisions. In this context, we propose an assessment framework to measure information quality. We also present an attempt to support our findings via an experiment. Finally, we conclude implications for analyzing and improving Information Quality in group decision making and outline the further research.
