Shape Optimization of SynRM to Obtain Minimum Torque Ripple Using Continuum Sensitivity Analysis

摘要
In this study, based on the continuum sensitivity-based method and level set method, Optimal rotor shape of the Synchronous Reluctance Motor was obtained. A new objective function is defined to make fluctuation of the inductance of each rotor position decrease. Utilizing this function, optimization was performed not only by increasing the torque size, but also by reducing the torque ripple. The performance of the motor in the improved shape was evaluated by FEM and its feasibility is verified.
