Numerical simulation of three-dimensional turbulent flow in a complex geometry, with LDV experimental confirmation

摘要
The standard k-epsilon two-equation model in conjunction with a modified wall function method is used to investigate three-dimensional turbulent flow in a complex geometry. Flow patterns for different Reynolds numbers and various sections are given. Comparison of the numerical results with the experimental data obtained by 3-component Laser Doppler Velocimeter (LDV) is conducted. Good agreement is achieved between the measured and predicted results.
