摘要：

At present, constructing a large Data Center and a unified data platform is the trend of data management. Based on former practical experience, the guideline, structure and content of IDC (Intranet Data Center) of SEPA (State Environmental Protection administration of China) was described. The IDC of SEPA is designed to be an open system, a standard data share and service platform for users, which includes data sources collection, data management and data sharing system development, correlated technical criterions research and, other functions. Its main technical characteristics are organizing data sources through catalog and expressing data through report forms and thematic maps. A series of. environmental database and standard datasets have been completed during a few years construction of IDC and the data share and service platform are also finished and running stably, but DDC also have some unresolved problems, such as support ability weakness, staff deficiency, fund lack, and so on.
