Pr3+ Centers in YSZ single crystals

摘要
The low-temperature optical-absorption and fluorescence spectra of Pr3+ ions in yttria stabilized zirconia single crystals were extensively investigated. From total site selective spectroscopy and time resolved measurements, at least three different optical centers were identified and associated with Pr3+ ions in two different coordinations. In two centers, Pr3+ ions are in sevenfold oxygen coordination while in the third one they are in sixfold coordination. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
