摘要
The management of constipation principally depends on global varying behavioural rehabilitation. It is based on educational attitude of the therapist for his or her patient. Precise knowledge of pathophysiological mechanisms is necessary to correct elementary dysfunctions, recognised by the patient. Treatment is integrated in a global therapeutic education of the patient. The behavioural approach with hygienodietary advice and medical treatment (that improve quality of intestinal transit, volume and consistency of faeces) are often enough to heal the total "constipation".
