摘要
Background: The dissemination of evidence-based prevention programs (EBP) into routine care settings is challenging. Objective: The study aim was to assess practitioners' attitudes towards EBP and to identify factors influencing the EBP use in practice. Methods: One hundred eighty-two practitioners were trained in one of three parent- or child-centered EBP. Three years later, we conducted structured telephone interviews. Results: The practitioners reported more positive attitudes towards EBP compared to a normative US sample. One third also reported to be skeptical towards EBP. Perceived program barriers and facilitators as well as workplace support predicted practitioners' attitudes. Conclusion: Most practitioners reported positive attitudes towards EBP and were able to implement them into their everyday working life. Relevant implications for practice are discussed.
