Decision aggregation in multi-agent systems

It is unlikely that agents' opinions in a multi-agent system (MAS) are identical. Usually these opinions are either close or conflicting to various degrees. They have to be combined or reconciled in order to produce one decision. We call this multi-agent decision-making procedure aggregation; it is a conflict resolution when the opinions are conflict. The aggregation procedures by applying the fuzzy averaging and ordered weighted averaging (OWA) are presented respectively. The approaches to implement OWA aggregation in multi-agent environments are discussed.
