摘要：
Recently, a lot of issues occurred with the rapid growth of rural tourism which brought great challenge to the sustainable rural tourism development in China. In this context, using scientific methods to evaluate the rural tourism destination objectively has important strategic significance for promoting the sustainable development of rural tourism. In this paper, the authors conduct a comprehensive literature review on researches of the evaluation indexes and methods of sustainable tourism sustainable development. At the end of the paper, the evaluation of sustainable rural tourism development is prospected. This research may contribute to better guide the practices of rural tourism development.
