摘要：
Multidrug-resistant tuberculosis is the result of misguided priorities by health authorities, and is the direct consequence of poorly run tuberculosis control programs which have proved to be worse than no programs at all. Although improperly prescribed and erratically taken antituberculosis medications can decrease morbidity and mortality in the short run, eventually an incurable and contagious disease develops.
