摘要
The age-metallicity relation for the disc in the solar neighbourhood is newly derived for 373 dwarf stars to which accurate distances are measured by the HIPPARCOS satellite. These ages enabled us to examine age - metallicity abundance relation. We consequently found that homogeneous chemical evolution model can account for the chemical enrichment of stars younger than 9 Gyr in the solar neighbourhood and that the uncertainty in the observed iron abundance is responsible for the apparent dispersion.
