摘要
In this talk I review the role of calorimetry at e(+)e(-) Colliders. Applications to electron identification, photon detection. energy flow measurements, and luminosity measurements are discussed. These applications are illustrated using the CLEO and ALEPH detectors as examples, thereby covering applications of calorimetry st low and high e(+)e(-) center-of-mass energies and a range of luminosities. The role of calorimetry at future higher energy e(+)e(-) colliders is also discussed.
