EFFECT OF SULPHUR APPLICATION ON YIELD OF GROUNDNUT AND SOIL FERTILITY UNDER RAINFED CONDITIONS

摘要
A field experiment was conducted at Agricultural Research Station, Dhari (Gujarat) during kharif 2001-2004 to study the effect of sulphur application on yield of groundnut and soil fertility under raided agriculture. Maximum pod yield (1914 kg ha(-1)) as well as net realization (Rs. 25360 ha(-1)) were recorded with application of sulphur through SOP in addition to recommend dose of fertilizer (12.5:25 kg NP ha(-1)). The available potasskum and sulphur status after harvesting of crop were significantly affected due to different treatments.
