摘要
Study objective: to verify the surgical and clinical outcomes of laparoscopic excision of deep endometriotic nodularity- obliterating the cul-de-sac. Design: retrospective cohort. Patients: 22 Caucasian patients with chronic pelvic pain and palpable nodules involving the rectovaginal septum. Surgery laparoscopic excision of deep endometriotic lesions and dissection of the cul-de-sac with mobilization but not resection of the rectosigmoid. Results: 86% of women treated referred hider relief of pain or significant improvement of pelvic algic symptoms without necessity of added medical therapy. Conclusion: radical laparoscopic excision of cul-de-sac of deep rectovaginal endometriosis is feasible without necessity of annular resection or the rectosigmoid and results in high rates of relief of pain.
