Aiming at the problem of the contradiction between man and land becoming more and more prominent in the process of rapid urban development, and taking the maximization of economic benefits as the objective function, a method of land use optimal allocation based on mathematical model was proposed in order to scientifically and rationally utilize the limited land resources. First, the objective function and constraint system of optimal allocation of land use space are constructed by comprehensively considering the constraint conditions of economy, society, environment and ecology. Second, a mathematical model of optimal configuration based on layered particle swarm optimization is constructed, and the fitness value of subgroup, global fitness value and current particle velocity are combined to search for the optimal particle. Finally, Wuhan city is taken as an example for experimental simulation. The results showed that the overall accuracy and Kappa coefficient of the proposed optimal configuration mathematical model were 86% and 0.81, respectively, which verified the feasibility of the model.
