Special section on dependable control of discrete systems

The workshop series on Dependable Control of Discrete Systems (DCDS) has the aim of providing the communities concerned about dependability with an opportunity to exchange information and new ideas, and to discuss new developments. This bi-annual meeting gathers researchers and practitioners from diverse areas related to different application domains, such as production systems, transport systems, automotive, embedded systems, power production and distribution, healthcare, and contributes to a better interdisciplinary approach for control dependability improvement. The selected articles overview the vision of authors over the presented topics and point out current trends and challenges of dependability issues on discrete control design.
