摘要
Transition to modern 5G networks under the conditions of limited frequency resources is challenged by the problem of ensuring sustainable high data rates. Multicast technology offers a possible solution to the problem of transferring the same data to the number of devices what results in significant improvement of spectral efficiency and throughput of a wireless network. Since in multicast mode one and the same frequency band is used for several devices, higher data rates can be achieved compared to unicast mode, where for each device only a small individual frequency band is allocated. In this paper, we focus on constructing an analytical framework that allows for modelling mobility-aware 5G system in the form of queuing networks.
