摘要
In medicinal and pharmaceutical science, the integration of an organized drug delivery system is very important. Numerous nanotechnology, hydrogels are utilized for drug delivery. For the creation of drug delivery many biopolymers, crosslinkers, and nanoparticles have been examined and all show the specific roles and uniqueness of the delivery of a drug. Blending of biopolymers with nanotechnology can provide a controlled drug delivery system with beneficial functioning and to perceive this concept hydrogels come into deliberation with their multifunctionality and capability to release a drug at an appropriate time and with the safest site of action. This review focus on the whole system of drug delivery with hydrogel as the carrier and the different applications of smart hydrogels. Copyright (c) 2022 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
