摘要
Managing change effectively is a challenge for construction projects, particularly when there is a commitment with the client to complete a project at a given price and deadline. Thus, it is important to develop a practical solution to ensure minimum disruption to the overall project performance and execution, and at the same time, be able to learn and gain from the experience. Construction is a process-based industry. Recently there has been a movement towards process development and improvement in construction, such as Process Innovation and Construction Process Re-engineering in order to improve performance. This paper proposes a solution for supporting changes that occur in a construction project using a process-level change management technique by integrating workflow technologies with change management.
