摘要
The title Co-III complex, bis[bis(2-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldehyde thiosemicarbazonato)cobalt(III)] dithionate-dimethylformamide- methanol (1/4/3), [Co(C9H10N3O2S)(2)](2)(S2O6)center dot 4C(3)H(7)NO center dot 3CH(3)OH, with monodeprotonated 2-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldehyde thiosemicarbazone as ligands crystallizes in the space group P (1) over bar. The asymmetric unit consists of two mononuclear [CoL2](+) cations, one dithionate anion (S2O6)(2-) as counter-anion and seven solvate molecules (four dimethylmethanamide and three methanol). Each Co-III ion has a moderately distorted octahedral S2N2O2 geometry. In the crystal, the components are linked by numerous N-H center dot center dot center dot O and O-H center dot center dot center dot O contacts.
