摘要
To reduce electromagnetic disturbances and to ensure protection against electromagnetic interference, current research aims to produce lightweight and low cost absorbent materials. In this sense, companies are looking for innovative, environmentally friendly and economical solutions for the production of high quality products for protection against electromagnetic interferences. As a result, Faraday flexible enclosures made of highly conductive textiles made of polyester with cooper and nickel were manufactured. These enclosures are used for electromagnetic compatibility experiments as well for protection of people. This paper presents some measurements made considering IEEE Std. 299, performed for the evaluation of shielding effectiveness on a Faraday flexible enclosure. The measurements are performed in a special laboratory from a Romanian Institute for Research, Development and Testing in Electrical Engineering.
