摘要:
The network requirements for back-up protection and the opportunities created by recent advances in communication, information and computer networking technologies will be discussed in this paper. A sophisticated protection and control algorithm will be proposed that use information from multiple monitoring points to take a broad view of the effect of faults and other disturbances on a transmission network. The algorithm will be evaluated using a simulator that models the effect of faults on the South Western part of the UK National Grid network.
