摘要
This paper describes the Risk Assessment and Risk Management approach adopted in Alenia Aerospazio, Divisione Spazio. The methodology is aimed to support the decision making process in the frame of a space project development and treat the risk in a global way considering cost, schedule and performance. The Risk Assessment technique has been applied in Alenia Aerospazio to identify the cost saving area in selecting the EEE component quality level (High-Rel vs. Mil-Grade) and the redundancy concept to be adopted for a space system design. The Risk Management approach has been developed in the frame of the Alenia Aerospazio "Process Improvement Program." Such an approach is based on a pre-defined set of Risk Factors-Development Status, Technology, Verification, Manufacturing, etc.-correlated to the cost, schedule and technical performances. The final risk evaluation in conjunction with the relevant risk control forms allows the risk reduction measures to be kept under control and monitored during the overall project life.
