The public security management of small and medium-sized hotels in China is a considerably complex and heavy work among special industries of public security organs. With the rapid development of social economy, the small and medium-sized hotel industry, while providing services for the floating population, has also become a hotbed for illegal activities of criminals. Current society features frequent population flow and increasing trans-regional fleeing crimes. In terms of this situation, it is efficient to take more control of the "living" issue of criminals for better performance of public security organs in preventing, combating, and solving the cases.
