摘要
With advances in technology, there is cause for a re-examination of the definition of information literacy. How does this impact first year students? It is proposed to include knowledge management tools in information literacy instruction to give first year students the foundation needed to understand the entire lifecycle of knowledge and to become successful lifelong learners. This paper examines the definition of information literacy as it relates to the 21st century information landscape and how to respond to the changes through applying knowledge management tools to teach first year students information literacy.
