Current state and trends in education ICT support

ICT support of education is a hot topic in a very competitive educational market, because it can bring a competitive advantage. This article attempts to summarize and present the main areas of the learning process where the impact of ICT can be reflected and where, therefore, this advantage may occur. Attention will be also paid to changes in the overall environment and their impact on the role of teacher and his support. The paper also summarizes the main development trends in ICT support of teaching and possible ways of their implementation are shown on examples. The impacts of changes in support of the learning process are also discussed on the basis of practical results.
