Particle-in-Cell code for gas discharge simulations

摘要
This paper describes a Particle-in-Cell code written in a modern programming language Julia. The code aims to simulate a process of electric discharge in gases. The most prominent features currently implemented: chemical reactions modeled with Monte Carlo collisions method, integration with a simple RLC circuit simulator and support for both XY and RZ coordinate systems. The capabilities of the software are presented by solving two classical problems: two-stream instability and RF discharge.
