SWOT analysis and strategic choice of E-commerce

摘要
The paper analyzes major strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges of current E-commerce using SWOT,analysis method, and gets the conclusion that E-commerce can break through time and space constraints, servicing customers more effectively, reducing transactiori links, lowering business costs and providing a huge potential customers for enterprises, so it has many strengths as compared with traditional commerce. However, E-commerce also has many weaknesses: it cannot satisfy users' psychology of consumption; relevant law is imperfect; high levels of E-commerce technology and management talents are deficient. As internet goes more and more popular and online transactions are rising; state pays attention to the development of E-commerce; finance, logistics and other related sectors provide the environment for the development of E-commerce. The facing challenges of E-commerce are: Issue of security is very serious; Credit system is not yet perfect; relevant technical standards are not unified. Then the paper systematically collates and inducts these aspects, points out the strategic choice of E-commerce: we should focus on the weakness of E-commerce, and leverage force of external opportunities to overcome the weaknesses, strengthen the strengths, and reverse the unfavorable situation. Thus, the realistic strategy choice of E-commerce (currently emphasis) should be based on the reverse strategy and growth strategy.
