摘要
The local climate zone (LCZ) scheme is crucial for standardized description of urban forms and functions. However, examination on diurnal land surface temperature (LST) characteristics of LCZs over a wide area remains elusive. This study used a GIS-based method to generate LCZs of Beijing, China and a spatiotemporal fusion model to obtain hourly LSTs at a 100-m resolution in four seasons. Results indicate that LCZs demonstrated significant differences in diurnal thermal responses, varying with the seasons. In general, compact LCZs had higher diurnal maximum (Max), minimum (Min), average (Avg) temperatures and temperature range (DTR) than open LCZs, and compactness had a greater impact on diurnal characteristics than the building height. Built-up types had larger DTR than non-built-up types and vegetated types had smaller DTR than water and bare zones. Bare rock or paved LCZs had higher Max/Min/Avg in April, July, and October but lower Max/Min/Avg in January than vegetated LCZs.
