The 2-periodic function, W* is an element of C-2(R) is constructed in such a way that the sum Sigma(n)(k=1)(-1)(k+1) f (k) can be efficiently estimated for any n is an element of N boolean OR {infinity} and for every f is an element of C-4[1, infinity) having integral(infinity)(1) vertical bar f ((4))(x)vertical bar dx < infinity.
