摘要
Composite ceramics materials have known an increasing development, because of their important characteristics and advantages, so, among them, an important role is that of electro-conductive ceramics composites - E(c)CC(s)-Al(2)O(3)/TiC. In order to obtain a part with specified shape and dimensions, made of this material type, most of the times a massive electrode electrical discharge machining EDM - by shape copying is needed - EDM - S(m)C(o). This paper presents theoretical and experimental research on temperature distribution field, for the previously mentioned machining procedure, carried on in order to get a mathematical model of temperature distribution. The theoretical assumption has been validated by experimental results.
