摘要：
Steel fibers improve concrete and shotcrete characteristics, mainly ductility and crack resistance. Steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC) and shotcrete (SFRS) properties have to be determined using the proper testing methods and determining the proper values. Empirical design methods are available, but also analytical design can be made based on the german DBV recommendations.
