This article, based on the survey of history about railway construction in China under the strategic context "The Belt and Road Initiative", analyzes regional railway and highway construction projects in China, Europe and Southeast Asia etc. It also makes a great difference to China's economic development and regional economic integration in the construction, proposes that railway and highway construction plays an irreplaceable role in speeding up logistics, human traffic, information flow, and promoting economic development and prosperity of market.
