摘要
On the past few years, Wireless Sensor Node (WSN) is gaining some popularity because of its usefulness in many applications such as weather monitoring, disaster management, hostile territory mapping and security surveillance. It is a network of a spatially distributed autonomous sensor node that cooperatively monitors physical or environmental conditions. Sensor nodes in these applications are expected to be remotely deployed in large numbers and operated in an unattended environments. Therefore, power source is generally assumed to be a scarcity or impossible to replace due to its designed application. So power conservation remains a very large and challenging task in prolonging the whole network lifetime. In this paper, to help conserve energy and maximize network lifetime, a fuzzy logic based clustering technique is implemented. Its objective is to divide the network into clusters and come up with the right selection of cluster heads using the combination of the following input parameters: RSSI value, LQI value and Node centrality.
