摘要
In this paper a fuzzy expert system to measure the similarity of 3-D curves is presented. This approach is based on an extension of the classical string edit distance. The extension is based on the use of a fuzzy set based cost functions in the edit distance computation. These two extensions allow us to tackle various problems, that can't be solved by means of "classical" string edit distance.
