Electro-optical frequency modulation of an external-cavity diode laser

摘要：
We report on a high frequency modulation of an external cavity diode laser near 780 nm. Employing a LiTaO3 crystal as an electro-optical modulator, frequency modulation of the laser emission up to 20 kHz with modulation depths of 1.5 GHz has been achieved. In addition, the laser is tunable in a stable single longitudinal mode across 20 nm. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
