摘要
This paper presents our study on designing a planar aperiodic sparse phased array with a characteristic of the low side lobe level (SLL) at a wide beam-steered angle spanning a wide bandwidth, using the optimizing algorithm of covariance matrix adaptation evolution strategy (CMA-ES). An optimized aperiodic planar sparse array in a circular disk with a radius of 6.25 lambda(0) has been achieved, showing the peak SLL<-15 dB without steering the main beam and the peak SLL<-12 dB with the main beam being steered 60 degrees away from the broadside in a bandwidth from f(0) to 10f(0).
