摘要
We report the results of TOF detector resolution studies carried out using a simulation package which takes into account light generation, propagation, attenuation and readout effects. Time resolution has been studied for a classic TOF configuration as well as for the set ups based on light collection via WLS fiber and producing Cherenkov photons. Best resolution has been obtained for the classic TOF configuration. (C) 2003 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
