A Robust Algorithm for Pupil Center Detection

摘要
The existing pupil center detection algorithms have fine performance for the ideal eye images. However, the captured eye images are often influenced by various conditions, such as eyelashes, hair, luminance, glasses and so on. In order to detect pupil center under disturbed conditions, this paper proposes a novel algorithm based on radial symmetry transform. Experimental results show that the method is effective and robust to various disturbances.
