摘要：
The dynamic buckling of the plastic column impacted by a rigid body is discussed in this paper. The equation of lateral disturbance is developed by taking account of the effect of stress wave. The power series solution of this problem has been obtained with the power series approach. The buckling criterion is proposed by analyzing the characteristics of the solution. The relationships between critical velocity and impacting mass as well as critical velocity and critical length are given by using theoretical analysis and numerical computation.
