摘要：

The article presents the classification of alternative fuels used in the cement industry as well as the advantages of using this type of fuel. Possibilities of their use by cement plants, types of alternative fuels used as well as the amount of use of this type of fuel. Physico-chemical parameters of alternative fuels were described, which should be met in order to use the cement industry.
