摘要
The importance of working on the issue of drug use by the homeless population, dispelling the myth of the crack epidemic, makes it possible to bring to light other vulnerability factors experienced by this public that deserve to be highlighted. This work proposes to identify successful experiences in the implementation of the Housing First methodology in several countries, including Brazil, in order to draw a line of convergence with the Harm Reduction strategy. It proposes a narrative review, with an exploratory approach and a bibliographic nature. The object of analysis was the official documents and articles from research with the findings of the implementation of this methodology in several countries, including programs carried out in Brazil in the last 10 years. The discussion intended to tie the strategy of guaranteeing rights proposed by the Housing First methodology to the power of care based on Harm Reduction, as a possibility of rescuing the subjects' autonomy.
