Spontaneous uterine rupture caused by placenta percreta during pregnancy is a rare, life-threatening, surgical emergency requiring timely and accurate diagnosis. Imaging findings of ultrasonography and computed tomography (CT) are provided and are worthy of discussion so as to familiarize the radiologists and clinicians with this rare but important complication.
